There’s a new wedding venue opening its doors in Somerset, and it’s already set to become one of the most sought-after in the region. Henlade House, located just outside Taunton, is opening in Spring 2026. The name might sound familiar – it was previously known as The Mount Somerset Hotel – but it’s now being completely reimagined as a stunning, exclusive-use wedding venue.
I’m now taking bookings for Henlade House weddings from 2026 onwards, and I couldn’t be more excited to photograph celebrations at this incredible new space.

Henlade House is part of the same collection of venues that includes Coombe Lodge, Priston Mill and Rockbeare Manor – three of the most elegant and well-run wedding venues in the South West. I’ve photographed weddings at both Coombe Lodge and Priston Mill, so I know just how seamless, relaxed and memorable weddings at these venues can be.
That same team will be bringing their experience and attention to detail to Henlade House, which means couples can expect exceptional service, beautiful surroundings and effortless organisation.
