Jade and Scott celebrated their stunning wedding at Clevedon Hall on 11th October, and it was the perfect setting for an autumn celebration. As a Clevedon Hall wedding photographer, I’m always reminded how incredible this venue is for timeless photography. The building’s grand architecture, lakeside grounds and elegant interiors make it one of the best wedding venues in Somerset for couples looking for a blend of luxury and warmth.

Bridal Prep in the Suite

The day started in the bridal suite at Clevedon Hall, a space filled with natural light and calm energy. Jade and her bridal party were relaxed and enjoying the morning together. The atmosphere was beautifully chilled, with plenty of laughter and emotional moments — especially during the first look with her dad, which was one of the most touching parts of the morning.

Meanwhile, the groom’s prep mirrored the same calm mood, giving the morning a wonderful balance before the celebrations began.

Indoor Ceremony at Clevedon Hall

The ceremony took place inside Clevedon Hall, surrounded by soft autumn light filtering through the windows. The décor was beautifully styled with flowers by Blooms at Breach, whose arrangements brought a perfect balance of colour and elegance to the room. The setting was intimate, emotional and full of personality — exactly what you’d hope for in a Clevedon Hall wedding ceremony.

Group Photos and Venue Portraits

After the ceremony, we made the most of the dry, overcast weather — ideal for photography. The soft light helped create flattering tones throughout the day. I took the drone up to capture the venue from above, showing off the grand exterior and surrounding gardens.

We used Jade’s organised group shot list to keep things running smoothly, capturing family and friends efficiently in front of the main building. For the big group shot, I photographed everyone from the bedroom window, a great elevated spot to make sure every guest was included.

Couple Portraits in the Gardens

Clevedon Hall’s gardens are vast and full of variety, so we took a loop around the huge grounds for the couple portraits. The backdrop of the historic building, tree-lined paths and lakeside views created a perfect mix of elegant and natural settings. It’s one of the reasons I love photographing weddings at Clevedon Hall — every corner offers a new opportunity for creative and romantic images.

Evening Reception and Speeches

The evening reception took place inside the main hall, where Disco Ballers provided the entertainment and kept the dance floor full all night. The speeches were a highlight — all announced by the groom’s son, who loved striking the gong each time a new speech began. The best man’s speech had everyone laughing, bringing the perfect end to an emotional and joyful day.
