The couple were married at St James Church (TQ10), a charming country church surrounded by Devon’s rolling hills. The ceremony was filled with emotion and meaning, with sunlight streaming through the stained glass as Curtis and Hattie exchanged their vows. The traditional setting provided a timeless backdrop for the first part of their day, blending perfectly with the relaxed, rural feel they carried through to the reception.

After the ceremony, guests made their way to The Grain Store, a stunning countryside venue surrounded by fields and open skies. The reception began with drinks and laughter outside, where the venue’s rustic character and sweeping views made it a photographer’s dream.

Thanks to an incredible wedding coordinator, Curtis and Hattie also made time for a quick trip to the nearby beach — a spontaneous and unforgettable part of their day. The golden Devon coastline provided a breathtaking backdrop for portraits, giving the couple a few quiet moments together before rejoining the celebrations.

Back at The Grain Store, guests enjoyed a beautifully styled wedding breakfast in the barn, filled with fairy lights, greenery, and heartfelt speeches. As evening fell, the atmosphere shifted from elegant to electric, with live music, dancing, and laughter carrying late into the night.
